Covid-19 Pandemic – Restricted Reopening in accordance with Government Guidance from May 28th 2021

We are happy to announce that from Friday 28th May our Pabulum Café meetings will resume but running on a restricted basis and following UK government guidelines. The Café will be open on Mondays and Fridays (with the exception of Spring Bank Holiday Monday on 31st May).

If you wish to attend please contact one of our organisers on the phone numbers below and they will do their best to accommodate you and will advise you of all the necessary arrangements and guidance.

This invitation to book and attend the cafés is extended to potential new members as well as existing members however we regret that anyone turning up for the cafés without pre-booking will not be allowed to attend.

While the cafés are operating on a restricted basis volunteers are also reminded that it is essential that they pre-book to attend so please contact the organisers in good time – numbers will be limited in accordance with government guidelines.

We are really looking forward to a further easing of restrictions when the “drop in” style café can restart but meanwhile we aim to support everyone with a warm and friendly meet up with teas and coffees provided.

Covid – 19 – Temporary Closure under Government Guidance

Regrettably the Pabulum Cafés remain closed under the guidance issued by UK Government for the period of the third lockdown in England.  Although the Government has now issued its ‘roadmap’ to relaxing the lockdown rules, it is understood that this is based on the data reflecting the reduction in the prevalence of Covid-19 cases in the community rather than firm calendar dates, so that at the moment we are unable to advise when we might start a tentative re-opening programme.  The Trustees and Organisers will continue to monitor Government guidance so that when resumption of opening is permitted and it is considered that the safety of our members, volunteers and visitors can be maintained in accordance with the guidance, we will then work towards re-opening.
