Conversation, reminiscence, table games, jigsaws and support from our trained volunteers are our standard offering in our cafes. Teas and coffees (at a nominal charge), cool drinks and biscuits are always available.
The Monday Cafe is our quieter café catering for those living with dementia who might find a busy environment difficult to cope with. Here the emphasis is upon conversation and support in a relaxed atmosphere.
We provide a variety of table games including the very popular Bendominoes, jigsaw puzzles and word searches. We regularly offer extra activities such as crafts, bingo, quizzes and even Stretch & Relax sessions.
Our Magic Table is available to use, offering a range of interactive games and activities. Light projections respond to hand and arm movements, increasing movement, physical and cognitive interaction and encourages social engagement.
We can usually offer informal advice to carers regarding applying for state benefits and Blue Badges, and assistance with IT skills such as accessing the internet, emailing and avoiding online scams.

Our cafes are free to attend, and open to anyone living with dementia. Please note; it is a requirement that those living with dementia must be accompanied at all times.
Please book a place at a café by contacting our Organisers – click on ‘Contact Us’ for contact details.
Open from 10am to 12 noon every Monday of the year except for bank holidays
