Two of our volunteers provide a wonderful display from time to time with varied items encouraging members to recall their past. This can include visual, audio and written items with members encouraged to bring along their own items. The creation of memory books/boxes and musical memories are an excellent way of stimulating conversations about the past.
Each week a table is reserved for those who like to knit. Needles or fingers all welcome!
Norfolk Admiral Nurse Appeal Our organiser Dianne set us a goal of producing 18,000 knitted Forget-me-nots to raise funds towards the provision of an Admiral Nurse for Norfolk. This target has been achieved and they are being sold at £1.00 each to raise funds.
This group meets twice a month to enjoy poetry either created by themselves or other authors. Members produced our own publication that is being sold to raise funds.
Each week a small group retires to a quieter room where a variety of craft activities is overseen by volunteer Linda Templeton
We have a selection of reading material produced by various authors providing information about and living with dementia. Books are free for members to borrow.
